Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Janette Manrana has become a hit with fans as the new host of It Takes Two.

Fans of the show will recognize her for her eight-year stint as a professional dancer on the show, with famous partners such as Peter Andre and HRVY.

But after announcing her retirement this year, Janette has now taken on her new role following in the footsteps of former host Zoe Ball.

She will host the BBC Two program on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Who did Janette Manrana dance with in Strictly and won?

The former strictly professional dancer turned co-host appeared in eight series of the show from 2013 to 2020.

And while Janette has managed to reach the top five on several occasions, she has never lifted the Glitterball Trophy.

In her first series, she teamed up with Welsh fashion designer Julien MacDonald OBE, and the couple came in at number 13.

In Series 12, she teamed up with EastEnders actor Jake Wood to reach 5th place, and in Series 13, she reached 7th place with singer Peter Andre.

Janette danced with radio DJ Melvin Odoom in 2016 to reach 15th place and with JLS singer Ashton Merrygold in 2017 to reach 10th place.

She also reached 10th place the following year with Dr Ranj Singh.

In 2019, Janette was paired with Paralympic tennis player Will Bayley, but due to a knee injury he had to quit the show in week six.

Her last Strictly appearance was in 2020 with singer HRVY, in which she got her first perfect score from the judges.

HRVY and Janette made it to the final but came in second meaning she didn’t quite make it lift the famous trophy.

Who is Janette Manrana married to and how long have they been together?

Strictly Star Janette Manrana is married to her professional dancer colleague Aljaž Škorjanec.

The couple have been together for 10 years and married since 2017.

They both gave their all on the series, including spending over two months away from each other, bubbling with their respective famous partners during the 2020 series.

When is Strictly: It Takes Two on TV and who joins Janette Manrana as the host?

Strictly: It Takes Two will air every night of the week from 6.30 p.m. on BBC Two.

Janette Manrana will host the show alongside Rylan Clark-Neal, who has been on the show since 2019.

They replaced Zoe Ball, who left the show after 10 years at the helm.
