Try a week of free classes in September with Ann Arbor Rec & Ed
ANN ARBOR – Explore all that Ann Arbor Public Schools Community Education and Recreation (Rec & Ed) has to offer with a week of free adult fitness and yoga classes.
Those interested in improving their health or flexibility have the opportunity to try the Leisure and Education classes between September 10 and 18 before committing.
Classes will be held in-person, online, or in a hybrid format with an in-person class supporting a live virtual presentation.
“Rec & Ed continues to adapt programming to meet the needs of the community. The flexibility of a hybrid format helps participants maintain regular fitness/wellness habits to help them achieve their goals. I see this type of hybrid format as the trend of the future. People can choose where they want to participate on any given day. More options to participate, fewer reasons to skip a class due to weather or other potential obstacles,” said Terry McNeely, Rec & Ed Fitness & Yoga Program Supervisor.
The “Try it Free” classes include different types of yoga, cardio drumming, weight training, Zumba, HIIT training, belly dancing and cardio barre.
Registration opens Monday, August 15.
