13 spots for summer dance classes in Metro Phoenix

Outdoor fitness options are all good and good on days with double-digit temperatures. But a steady stream of triple digits will soon be upon us, making most people think about interior alternatives. It’s tough to hike or bike indoors, so we think the dance is definitely there for those who prefer fitness options with decently dosed air conditioning.

We’ve found several places offering cool dance classes ranging from ballet to hip hop, where you can stay in shape and increase your prowess in the fluid movement department. Although summer officially starts on June 22, we’re including a few picks that start a little earlier for those of you looking to hit the dance studio a little earlier. These are all adult classes, but we’ve noted ones that allow older teens to participate.
